Minors is open to boys & girls ages 9, 10 & 11 (actual birthday requirements are listed in registration).  Based on the player evaluations, some 10U players will be offered dual-roster spots in Minors and Majors, with Minors activities taking priority.

Schedule: Play begins in April and approximately 12 games will be played, plus a single elimination playoff that all teams will be eligible for.

Fields: The majority of games will be played at Hanesworth South.

Practice: Teams will practice at their managers discretion.  Typically each team will have 3-5 practices before the season starts with an occasional in season practice.  There is no league policy on practice as it is entirely up to the manager to practice as often as they see fit.

Game Play: Minors games will consist of 6 innings of competitive baseball in which the score will be kept along with league standings for 9 and 10 year old boys and girls.  The league is entirely kid pitch with no in-game assistance from coaches.  An umpire will call balls and strikes from behind the plate.  Pitchers are allowed to pitch up to two innings per game and are monitored via a pitch count for game-to-game usage control.  Managers are encouraged to rotate their players between the infield and outfield to promote development.   At the conclusion of the regular season a single elimination playoff will take place in which all teams are seeded according to their regular season record.   All-Star teams will be selected for both age groups by the league managers.  Each age group will play in tournaments during the entire month of July at the conclusion of the regular season playoffs.  If you have any questions about registration, the rules, or placement of your child, please contact the divisional VP.   Email address can be found on the League Board tab of this website.

A hat and team shirt is provided by the league. Players will need to bring their own glove, but helmets and bats are optional (and are otherwise shared/provided by the league during the game).
